
On April 7, NECAA hosted the Greater Boston CHINA Town Hall at Brookhaven at Lexington and via Zoom. Approximately 35 attended on-site, with Zoom numbers to be confirmed.

1. After a national discussion with senior U.S. diplomats, the local segment was moderated by NECAA Co-President Hua Wang. Elizabeth Knup, Honorary Senior Fellow at the Center for China Analysis and Director at the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, was the featured speaker.
2. Attendees included Chinese American professionals, local residents, scholars, and charity leaders.
3. Themes explored:
- For Chinese Americans: Reflecting on their place in a changing U.S. landscape.
- Generationally: Older participants recounted past U.S.-China dynamics, while today’s decision-makers and youth engage with a different reality.
- For China’s government: Managing institutional trust amid rapid technological change.
